As per the declaration of Noida Authority, the transfer or registration work of residential properties can be carried out online for sure. The process of online registration will initiate from January. In the wake of bringing more transparency, this step has been taken by the authorities.  Previously, people used to register their residential properties manually. Taking a stand in this direction, the OSD of Noida Authority by the name of Rajesh Kumar Singh stated that these online services were started November itself. The idea of starting the online registration is to ensure that none of the data goes missing.

He further stated that services such as mutation, work extension, mortgage, and even development fee were carried out online. In fact, the manual services will be halted from this month only. The authorities will be making the process online to be compulsory itself. With the help of this service, people will be able to execute the process and documentation work from home. Also, the people will be able to check the status of their application online. Along with this, the homeowners will be able to make online payment and complete the registration process without much difficulty, the purpose of online registration is to maintain the records easily.

Putting more light on the decision made, the authorities stated that they tend to make online facility of registering residential properties to be extremely compulsory. In fact, it is the transfer of memorandum that has to take place in a justified manner. Ideally stating, TM or Transfer of Memorandum is an authorized permission given by the authority to the owner of the residential property for transferring their ownership. This will be done to make every transaction transparent between the existing owner and the future owner.

Being a part of the modern world with technology making its impact in every sector, registration of residential properties online is an excellent way. This is done to keep a track of the records and ensure that nothing goes wrong with the saved data. The step taken by the authorities is an answer to malicious practices carried out by numerous building companies for providing properties without registration. Of course, it will put a stop on such adverse practices and ensure that all the properties should be registered before selling out to buyers. So, it is always better to register properties before handing them to buyers.
