Introduction: The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act of 2016, commonly known as RERA, was enacted by the Indian Parliament to safeguard homebuyers by regulating the real estate sector. States, including Haryana, adapted the national framework into their own versions, such as the Haryana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules of 2017, commonly referred to as RERA Haryana.
