The world’s tallest temple at a cost of Rs. 300 crore is getting built in Mathura to be named "Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir". It will be one of the most expensive temples built by ISKON. It will be a skyscraper temple towering over 210 meters, spanning more than 6 acres o land. This prestigious project will be completed in 2022 with a helipad on top of it.
This fantastic project is absolutely the idea of the devotees of ISKON-Bangalore and there are plans to have a grand temple for Krishna in the centre. The temple is expected to be of a massive size and the entire project with the temple will be constructed blending both the modern architecture and the Indian temple architecture. The temple is expected to be one of the largest and grandest in India for years to come. The temple spans an area of 6 acres and has a massive height of about 700 feet. The temple will host many religious festivals and occasions in the coming years.
On top of this, a look-alike of Verdant forests of Vrindavan will be recreated on 18 acres of land around this temple. It will consist of twelve forests with full of greeneries, vegetations, lakes etc. Along with it, there will also be artificial waterfalls tumbling down from mountains. All these structures will undoubtedly take people to the time when Srimad Bhagavatam came into existence. In other words, People will travel back to Lord Krishna’s time.
